自己紹介を原稿用紙に書く方法：How to introduce yourself in Japanese, writing on manuscript paper

　日本語を使って自己紹介をしてみたいですか。

　初めて会った人に、自分のことを話すのは、ドキドキして、緊張するかもしれません。
また、自己紹介＝第一印象にもなるので、あらかじめ話す内容をまとめておくと、よりスムーズな話し方ができます。

　もしもあなたが日本語の初心者でも、簡単な文を使って自己紹介ができます。自分のことを表現できる自信がつき、学習意欲も高まります。
ここでは、また、自己紹介を原稿用紙に書いてみたいと思います。

　自己紹介は、次の2種類があります。

①複数の人に向けて話す、内容がまとまっている自己紹介
②会話の中での自己紹介

今回は①の、「複数の人に向けて、内容がまとまっている自己紹介」
についてお話ししたいと思います。

　「何を話すのか」については、基本的に7つの内容が考えられます。
７つ全てを話さなくてもいいのですが、誰に話すのかによって内容は違ってきます。

（１）初めのあいさつ

「はじめまして。」

（「どうもはじめまして。」と「どうも。」は、よりカジュアルになります。）

（２）名前

「〇〇と申します。」「〇〇です。」「（私の）名前は〇〇です。」

（３）学校・大学[学部、学科、学年]、または仕事[会社名、部署、職業]

「日本語学科の１年生です。」

「経済学部の３年生です。」

「英語講師をしています。」

「グラフィックデザイナーです。」

（４）出身

「カナダ出身です。」

「中国から来ました。」「アメリカから来ました。」

「今は愛知県に住んでいますが、出身は滋賀県です。」

（５）家族

「私の家族は７人家族です。両親と兄と姉と弟と妹がいます。」

（「～がいます。」には「私」を入れません。）

「家族は父と母と私の３人です。」

「それから、ペットの猫を飼っています。」

（「一匹」は、つけなくていいです。）

（「２匹」を加えたいなら、

「それから、ペットの猫を２匹飼っています。」とします。）

（６）興味のあるもの

「私はアニメが好きです。アニメは見るのも好きですが、

イラストを上手に描けるようにもなりたいと思っています。」

「私は日本食が大好きです。特に天ぷらとお寿司が好きです。

このあいだ、からあげを作りました。」

（７）終わりのあいさつ

「よろしくお願いします。」

　自己紹介のことをあれこれ考えていたら、ふと、

「一期一会（いちごいちえ）」

という四字熟語が頭に浮かんできました。
　「一期一会（いちごいちえ）」とはウィキペディアによると、

「茶道に由来する日本のことわざ・四字熟語。
　茶会に臨む際には、その機会は二度と繰り返されることのない、一生に一度の出会いであるということを心得て、亭主・客ともに互いに誠意を尽くす心構えを意味する。」

とのこと。
　出会いを大切にしたいものです。

Would you like to introduce yourself in Japanese?

Talking about yourself to someone you meet for the first time can make you nervous, like having butterflies in your stomach.

In addition, self-introduction = first impression, so if you summarize what you talk about in advance, you will be able to speak more smoothly.

I’m sure even if you are a beginner at Japanese, you can introduce yourself in Japanese with simple sentences, and you will gain the confidence to express yourself, and increase your motivation to learn the language more.

Here, also, I would like to write a self-introduction on the manuscript paper, genkoyoshi.

Self-introduction has two types:

① self-introduction with a cohesive content, a speech to multiple people
② self-introduction in conversation

This time, I would like to talk about ①self-introduction which is summarized contents to multiple people.

There can be basically seven contents for "what you talk about."
You don't have to talk about all seven, but the content depends on who you talk to.

(1) Opening address

「はじめまして。」

(「どうもはじめまして。」and「どうも。」will be more casual.)

(2) Name

「〇〇と申します。」「〇〇です。」「（私の）名前は〇〇です。」

(3) School/University [faculty, department, grade] or work [company name, department, occupation]

「日本語学科の１年生です。」「経済学部の３年生です。」

「英語講師をしています。」「グラフィックデザイナーです。」

"I'm a first year student in the Japanese language department."

"I'm a third year student in the Faculty of Economics."

"I'm an English teacher." "I'm a graphic designer."

(4) Birthplace

「カナダ出身です。」「中国から来ました。」「アメリカから来ました。」

「今は愛知県に住んでいますが、出身は滋賀県です。」

"I'm from Canada." "I'm from China." "I'm from the United States."

"I currently live in Aichi prefecture, but I am from Shiga prefecture."

(5) Family

「私の家族は７人家族です。両親と兄と姉と弟と妹がいます。」

"My family is a family of seven. I have parents, an older brother, an older sister, a younger brother, and a younger sister."

(Do not put 「私」"I" in the sentence 「~がいます。」"I have ...")

「家族は父と母と私の３人です。」

"There're three (people) in my family. My father, mother, and me."

「それから、ペットの猫を飼っています。」

"Then, I have a pet cat."

(「一匹」"One" does not have to be attached.)

(If you want to add 「２匹」"two", say

「それから、ペットの猫を２匹飼っています。」

"then I have two pet cats.")

(6) Interest

「私はアニメが好きです。アニメは見るのも好きですが、イラストを上手に描けるようにもなりたいと思っています。」

"I like anime. I like watching anime, but I also want to be able to draw illustrations well."

「私は日本食が大好きです。特に天ぷらとお寿司が好きです。このあいだ、からあげを作りました。」

"I love Japanese food. I especially like tempura and o-sushi.

The other day, I made karaage (Japanese fried chicken)."

(7) closing address

「よろしくお願いします。」

When I was thinking about self-introduction, I suddenly came up with the four-character idiom "ichigo ichie". According to Wikipedia, "ichigo ichie" is explained as follows.

"A Japanese proverb, a four-character idiom derived from sado, a traditional tea ceremony.

When attending a tea ceremony, the owner and the guest will take a sincere approach toward the tea ceremony each other, knowing that the opportunity will never be repeated and that it will be a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
It means such an attitude. 
I want to treasure every meeting and encounter I have.
