SDGsとは何か？

Ｓ・・・Sustainable

Ｄ・・・Development

Ｇ・・・Goals

「Sustainable Development Goals（持続可能な開発目標）」の略称です。

「エスディージーズ」と読まれます。

「SDGsと制服」

　近ごろさかんに、着なくなった制服が再利用されている。

　たんすの肥やしにせず積極的に活用したいし、まだ使えるものを捨ててしまうのはもったいない。SDGｓにもかなっていて心強い。

　SDGｓは、国連が地球規模で取り組むべき目標として、2030年までに達成を目ざす17のゴール・169のターゲットである。

　国・自治体での取り組みはまだ、一人ひとりにまで浸透してはいない。

　なぜか。今までも何かしらSDGｓにつながることはしてきた。地産地消やバザー、さらに、古着を雑巾にまで使い切ることも。

　けれど、現代の大量消費志向の前には、ほぼ無力である。

　では、社会問題を見て見ぬ振りでいいのか。

　地球の限界を超えて回復力を失うと、社会や経済を危険にさらす。

　命の価値を考え、マインドシフトしていかなければならない。

　たかが制服、されど制服。「未来の大人たち」を育てている私たち親が今、人類の未来に少しでも貢献できれば、こんなにうれしいことはない。

SDGs and uniforms  

Recently, uniforms that are no longer worn are  reused. Don't mention a white elephant, I mean, don’t put the uniforms away in the chest of drawers. We should use them proactively, because it's a pity to waste them that we can still use. It is also encouraging to know that the reuse action is reasonable with Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs.

The SDGs have 17 goals and 169 targets by the United Nations, and the UN emphasizes we should work on a global scale to achieve by 2030. Efforts by the national and local governments have not yet infiltrated each individual.

Why is that? Until now, we have been doing activities fit with the SDGs in some way, without knowing it. Local production for local consumption, bazaars, and even used clothes can be used up as rags. However, it is almost powerless before the modern mass consumption orientation.

Then, is it okay to pretend not to see social issues? Losing resilience　beyond the “Planetary boundaries” puts society and the economy at risk. We must think about the value of life and shift our minds. Only uniforms, but uniforms. It would be great if we as parents, who are raising "future adults," can contribute to the future of humankind as much as possible.

「17の目標とは何か」（Japanese and English）

以下の17の目標がある。

(1) 貧困をなくす (No Poverty)…「あらゆる場所のあらゆる形態の貧困を終わらせる」

(2) 飢餓をゼロに (Zero Hunger)…「飢餓を終わらせ、食料安全保障及び栄養改善を実現し、持続可能な農業を促進する」

(3) 人々に保健と福祉を (Good Health and Well-Being)…「あらゆる年齢のすべての人々の健康的な生活を確保し、福祉を促進する」

(4) 質の高い教育をみんなに (Quality Education)…「すべての人々への包摂的かつ公正な質の高い教育を提供し、生涯学習の機会を促進する」

(5) ジェンダー平等を実現しよう (Gender Equality)…「ジェンダー平等を達成し、すべての女性及び女児の能力強化を行う」

(6) 安全な水とトイレを世界中に (Clean Water and Sanitation)…「すべての人々の水と衛生の利用可能性と持続可能な管理を確保する」

(7) エネルギーをみんなに、そしてクリーンに (Affordable and Clean Energy)…「すべての人々の、安価かつ信頼できる持続可能な近代的エネルギーへのアクセスを確保する」

(8) 働きがいも経済成長も (Decent Work and Economic Growth)… 「包摂的かつ持続可能な経済成長及びすべての人々の完全かつ生産的な雇用と働きがいのある人間らしい雇用（ディーセント・ワーク）を促進する」

(9) 産業と技術革新の基盤をつくろう (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)…「強靱（レジリエント）インフラ構築、包摂的かつ持続可能な産業化の促進及びイノベーションの推進を図る」

(10) 人や国の不平等をなくそう (Reduced Inequalities)…「各国内及び各国間の不平等を是正する」

(11) 住み続けられるまちづくりを (Sustainable Cities and Communities)…「包摂的で安全かつ強靱（レジリエント）で持続可能な都市及び人間居住を実現する」

(12) つくる責任つかう責任 (Responsible Consumption and Production)…「持続可能な生産消費形態を確保する」

(13) 気候変動に具体的な対策を (Climate Action)…「気候変動及びその影響を軽減するための緊急対策を講じる」

(14) 海の豊かさを守ろう (Life Below Water)…「持続可能な開発のために海洋・海洋資源を保全し、持続可能な形で利用する」

(15) 陸の豊かさも守ろう (Life on Land)…「陸域生態系の保護、回復、持続可能な利用の推進、持続可能な森林の経営、砂漠化への対処、ならびに土地の劣化の阻止・回復及び生物多様性の損失を阻止する」

(16) 平和と公正をすべての人に (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions)…「持続可能な開発のための平和で包摂的な社会を促進し、すべての人々に司法へのアクセスを提供し、あらゆるレベルにおいて効果的で説明責任のある包摂的な制度を構築する」

(17) パートナーシップで目標を達成しよう (Partnership)…「持続可能な開発のための実施手段を強化し、グローバル・パートナーシップを活性化する」
